Proud to stand out
We’ve been named a Top Employer for 12 years as well as a Top Employer for women for 17 years – the only company in the UK to receive this title! We’re proud we’ve received accolades for our work on wellbeing along with the strides we’re making in diversity and inclusion.
Inventing new flavours, products
Our Global R&D centre at Leicester leads the way in reformulating products and devising healthier new ones. With state of the art technology, laboratories and development kitchens (as well as plenty of office space), the site is home to tasty flavours and exciting new products!
Largest crisp factory in the world
The 4,500 strong team behind our household brands is spread across 10 UK sites including our Quaker oats mill in Cupar and, our Walkers crisp factory in Leicester – the largest crisp factory in the world. With over 300 farmers, we source around 300,000 tonnes of potatoes and 125,000 oats every year to make our products.
Vibrant and versatile
Our main UK office is in Green Park, just outside of Reading. Home to around 500 colleagues it’s bright, colourful and fun – the perfect place to create, connect, collaborate and celebrate! The site has good transport links along with a gym, restaurant and coffee shop as well as our discounted colleague shop.
Our presence in the UK’s biggest city
Panagram is a newly refurbished, multi-occupancy building in Clerkenwell, London, where PepsiCo took up residence in October 2022. In addition to a modern, more flexible office space for our London teams, Clerkenwell offers a vast selection of restaurants, bars, cafés, shops, bus, tube and rail links.
PepsiCo UK: Popular, sustainable, innovative
9 of 10 UK households buy Walkers crisps
We transform potato peelings leftover from making Walkers crisps in our Leicester factory into low-carbon fertiliser and return it to UK farms where we grow potatoes for our crisps.
100%Renewable energy powers all PepsiCo UK manufacturing
We’re proud we haven't sent any manufacturing waste to landfill since 2011. Waste from producing Walkers crisps is used to make animal feed and biofuel, as well as fuelling our special anaerobic digestor which generates 25% of electricity for our Leicester manufacturing site.
££Multi-million investment into our manufacturing sites
Our investments enable sustainable packaging, innovation and product reformulation. As well as increased storage capacity to better meet the growing consumer demand for Walkers crisps.
Social impactReducing packaging
Hear about the work we’re doing to create a world where packaging needs never becomes waste from our - UK Sustainability Director - Simon Devaney.
DiversityBring your full self to work
We want all our employees to feel comfortable being who they are and bringing their full self to work. Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are at the heart of this, celebrating our differences, driving our diversity and inclusion agenda from the ground up and embedding it in our culture.
From our Thrive group, who drive gender equality and female empowerment to our Culture and Ethnicity team who challenge our thinking and help us guard against unconscious bias. We are happy to be supporting the people going above and beyond to drive positive change across all levels of the organisation. Other ERGs include, our EQUAL team who work hard to drive conversations around LGBTQ+ issues, Parents and Carers group and Neurodiversity team.
