Overview

Lead the commercial intelligence and analytics S&T team in ICC & MCC supporting One North America (PBUS & PFUS). This new leadership role will drive deeper engagement of the sector with our business analytics capabilities, focusing on providing marketplace intelligence to senior executives. Provide critical leadership for PBUS / PFUS share forecasting.

Accelerate standardization of MPI intelligence and play the role of POC in all digitization + automation workstreams. Oversee ICC & MCC team, build culture, team capability, effectiveness and ensure data quality. This is a high impact and high visibility role as work will be delivered to NA CEO’s, CFO’s, and PEP Chairman.

Responsibilities
  • Own Weekly Share Reporting and assist LG3+ in communicating performance drivers to NA F&B Executive team, Sector Commercial SVPs, and CCO Finance SVPs
  • Track key share driving metrics including execution, distribution, price indices, and velocities. Assess impact to share performance across PEP and competitors
  • Partake in ownership over all share ad-hoc analysis, deep-dive requests, and root-cause analysis. Develop comprehensive analysis and articulate findings to senior leadership. Output often reviewed by PEP NA executive level leadership
  • Partner with the Strategy and Commercial teams on PGM (PepsiCo Growth Model) and other demand forecasting processes
  • Lead and develop digitization capability across sector and categories enhancing report automation and interactive dashboards generation in N.A. I&I One Hub
  • Play the role of gatekeeper of all PepsiCo North America marketplace intelligence data, leading the agenda with key suppliers and maintaining alignment among Global and Local needs for that subject.
  • Ensure that all PepsiCo´s market data is reliable in terms of quality and timing
  • Coach, cross-train and develop 11 teammates (3-4 direct reports) on the team
Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years experience within CPG, Retail or strategy consulting firm required
  • Strong understanding of the Food and Beverage retail environment, past experience with Customer and/or Category data considered a plus
  • Depth of understanding in North American Food & Beverage categories, competitive landscape and consumer trends. Knowledge of nuances among omni retailers, including incubation channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Including Strategic-framing storytelling and Advanced problem-solving capabilities. Ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Circana/IRI proficiency
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting, financial modeling
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions/processes
  • Ability to storyline and present to Senior Leadership
  • Ability to drive the agenda and influence across functions and levels
  • Ability to lead team and influence culture across a team in multiple geographies
  • Superior time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan
  • Results-oriented with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion
  • Good people skills to manage information-gathering requests and have a positive influence on team members
  • Strong ability to work within and be successful in a highly matrixed environment
