Partner with all FP&A team across all BUs in APAC Foods sector to lead the core FP&A process, including monthly flash, rolling forecast, AOP and Strategic plan.
ResponsibilitiesFunctional Responsibilities
- Lead the APAC Foods planning calendar setting and manage timetable, coordinate to ensure timely submission across the APAC Foods sector and to corporate
- Lead the monthly performance review, analysis and explain variance, and provide timely and solid communication with APAC Foods leadership team
- Lead the core planning processes for P&L, including flash, rolling forecast, AOP for all online and offline requirements
- Lead review of risks and opportunities and provide recommendations on trade offs
- Drive forecast accuracy across the APAC foods sector, closely monitor extraordinary items and provide recommendation on sector overlay
- Lead the review of rolling forecast and AOP rollups and provide recommendation to FP&A head and CFO on necessary adjustments and business intervention, provide financial communications
- Lead the tracking of flex and task across the APAC foods sector, provide recommendation to reinvestment proposals
- Lead the APAC foods AOP target analysis and setting across the sector, identify trends and support development of contingency plans and corrective actions
- Lead in developing financial pages for POR deck
- Maintain bonus model and closely track bonus impacts in response to each BU performance
- Add critical business insights on APAC foods sector performance management reports and review business performance with APAC foods leadership team
- Establish ways of working with broader finance group to strengthen business processes and governance
- Identify process improvements and interventions to achieve process simplification / better control
People Responsibilities
- Develop core FP&A Organization capability and efficiency by sponsoring and supporting analytics-based insights
- Drive cross country best practice sharing to improve work efficiency
- 10+ years of experience in finance and planning, preferably with regional roll-up experience
- 5+ years of experience of working in a business and managing team remotely
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in commerce/business administration / economic with high level of Finance & Accounting Experience. CA/ICWAI/MBA/CPA Finance is preferred
- Strong understanding of FP&A processes
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Strong technical knowledge and experience of both Management reporting and planning processes
- Experience with FMCG companies
- Exceptional communication skills. Proficiency in English language
